After the successful launch of Mater Private Hospital Springfield in late 2015, the team behind this innovative new $85 million hospital wanted to highlight the range of medical and surgical services that can be accessed via a GP referral to a private specialist. They also wanted to take the opportunity to introduce their exceptional team of specialists to General Practitioners from the surrounding area.
Not only did we need to familiarise local GP’s with the medical and surgical services now available in their area for overnight and day patients, including a dedicated day oncology service, it was also important to introduce the specialists practicing at Mater and we decided the best was to do this was to make direct contact and ‘start a conversation’ between Mater, the GPs and the specialists.
We captured the first series of photos taken at the newly completed hospital. As well as being used as part of this campaign, these images can be used across a variety of marketing channels for Mater.
To ‘start the conversation’ we produced a short video to highlight many of the amazing facilities and services available at Mater Private Hospital Springfield. This video was used online and also in conjunction with personalised video brochures, the focal point of the campaign, that were sent to key stakeholders.
Video brochure design
Imagine opening a book or brochure to find a personalised video message just for you. We made it happen. Director of Mater Private Hospital Springfield, Fritha Mackay recorded a personal welcome message for each GP, which played automatically when the brochure was opened. This personal touch combined with the design of these brochures ensured they made a lasting impact on those who received one.
Email marketing and direct mail
To maximise the opportunity of being the ‘new guy in town’ as such, and to extend Mater’s reach to GPs further afield in surrounding areas, we also developed an email marketing and direct mail campaign using the same look and feel. This included links to an animated specialist overview video and associated content, also designed to introduce them to the specialists available at Mater Private Hospital Springfield.
